types, ecosystems, and microclimates.

Ecuador led South America to democracy in the 1970s,
making it the state with the longest unbroken period
of democracy.

Ecuador has no production of coca leaves like other
latinamerican countries and has no terrorist movement

Indigenous population as well as immigrant groupings
are fully integrated into the countries social and political

With a well-developed tourist infrastructure, Ecuadors

Since 2000 the official currency is US Dollar.

of the middle classes and precipitated mass emigration.

its nature, flora and fauna.

The voice of protest against the mainstream political
parties, whom have been condemned for corruption, has
channelled into organised political pressure groups.

Not a Banana Republic.
Ecuador has been always good at developing their own
natural resources and selling them to the world. Chocolat
beans, oil, shrimps, flowers, bananas, etc.
